Alan Poon appointed as Associate Director, Industrial Technology Division of Laurelcap Sdn. Bhd.
Alan Poon is appointed as Associate Director to spearhead the newly setup Industrial Technology Division of LaurelCap Group. He will assist to develop technological innovations, the first step in the right direction, for digital transformation of this full-fledged international property consultancy firm.
Alan said it was an exciting time to be part of LaurelCap as today’s technological climate revolutionized real estate services and solutions. “We need to have the foresight to embrace technology driven systems and processes within the organization, in this brick-and-mortar industry”, he commented.
Alan Poon is a Registered Technologist with the Malaysia Board of Technologist (MBOT) and a Corporate Member of the Technological Association of Malaysia (MTAM). He holds a first-class Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Malaya.
He has more than 15 years of experience in investment strategies, introducing breakthrough trainings and provided consultancy for various companies to help boost their marketing strategies through events, in the evolving real estate landscape. As a HRD Corp. Certified Trainer, Alan had trained countless of property managers, developers and real estate stakeholders via CIDB & BOVAEP approved CPD courses.
He is fondly known as a luminary author in the Malaysia Book of Records, being the “First Author to Launch 3Books Simultaneously” on real estate tenant management. Alan regularly speaks in major real estate events and writes for the media. He was appointed to the Industrial Advisory Panel (IAP) for Graduate School of Business, SEGi University in 2019 and Board of Studies for UCSI College-OxfordBrookes University, Business Degree Programmes in 2021.
